Visual Art has been an important part of my life.

As a secondary student at boarding school in the 1970s I would steal the art room key from my boarding house master and secret myself away in the art room for half a day. While I have spent the last 40 years doing medicine I have managed to do Art History papers at Otago university and find time to build this portfolio. Now at the end of my medical career I am pursuing ceramics which I have been doing at night classes at Otago Polytec.
